About

Every system is a fiction the machine agrees to believe.

Ours keep their story straight. Founded in Kathmandu in August 2026 — we build software, we run it, and we tell clients when we think they are buying the wrong thing.

How we got here

Tattva is the Sanskrit for that-ness — essence, the thing itself. Attatva is its negation, which is an odd thing to name a company until you notice that every system any of us ships is an abstraction the hardware has agreed to honour. Nothing in it is real. All of it is load-bearing.

Attatva started as four engineers doing platform work for European clients who had discovered that Kathmandu had a deep pool of senior talent and a timezone that overlaps both Europe and Singapore. The work was good and the model was unremarkable: an outsourcing shop with better engineers than most.

What changed it was Drishti. A logistics client needed customs documents read in Devanagari, we could not buy anything that did it acceptably, so we built it. Then a second client needed it. Then the tooling we had written to orchestrate our own agent work became Sutra for the same reason.

So we are now two things at once — a product company and a services company — and we have stopped apologising for that. The services work tells us what to build, and the products are why the services team can quote timelines other firms cannot.

What we actually do differently

The scope is paid and yours
Two weeks, written down, and you keep the document whether or not you hire us for the build. We would rather lose the engagement than win one built on a guess.
We publish the number that hurts
Per-script accuracy, not a flattering average. The share of fields still going to human review. Uptime including the incident.
Handover from day one
Documentation written as the work happens, tested by someone who was not there. An engagement you cannot leave is a hostage situation, not a partnership.
No logo wall
Our clients are under NDA. We describe them by profile and let the numbers carry the argument, rather than borrowing credibility from a logo we are not allowed to show.

Where we are

One office, in Anamnagar, in central Kathmandu. Everyone is in it or within an hour of it — we are distributed from our clients, not from each other, which is a meaningfully different thing.

Send the problem, not a spec. We'll come back within one business day with an honest read on whether we're the right team — and who to talk to if we're not.
